The Email Notification screen enables you to specify recipients of email messages for various events. You can also disable email notification if it is currently enabled, or enable it if it is disabled. To view this screen, click the Settings tab at the top right of the screen. In the Settings screen, click E-mail Notification. The Email Notification screen appears. The appearance of the Email Notification screen depends on whether email server settings have been configured and whether email notification has been enabled. If you have not configured email server settings, the Email Notification screen asks you to either configure your settings or disable email notification: If you have configured your email server settings and email notification is enabled, the Email Notification screen looks like this: The Status tab, which is displayed when this screen appears, lists when the email settings were last changed and verified.
If email notification is disabled, the Email Notification screen looks like this:
If the email settings have been changed since they were last validated, the Last Email Server Settings Validation date is displayed in red: If you are a member of the Administrators role, you can use the Email Notification screen to configure email notification settings, validate email notification, disable or enable email notification, and define email notification rules.
