Setting Up the Grammar Roots |
Now that you have created the table group, you must specify the grammar root for the table group, and for each table in the group.
To specify the grammar root:
- In the Table Grammar panel, double-click the Observation folder.
- When the Changing the grammar root will invalidate the grammar roots of this node's children window appears, click Yes.
- Select the Observation segment group to be the grammar root:

- In the Table Grammar panel, double-click the ObservationRequest table. (You may need to expand the Observation folder first.)
- When the information window appears, click OK.
- Select the OBR segment to be the grammar root:

- Close the Table Mapping window that appears; you will deal with the table mappings later.
- In the Table Grammar panel, double-click the ObservationResult table.
- When the information window appears, click OK.
- Select the OBX segment to be the grammar root:

- Close the Table Mapping window that appears; you will deal with the table mappings later.
