Now that you have created a VMD file that defines a scripted transformation that checks whether an idle channel has become active, the next step is to modify your Iguana channel to use this VMD file as a filter. To do this:
Your channel will now use the VMD file you created in the previous section to check whether the channel was idle and is now active. Any "idle channel restarted" warnings that are generated by this VMD file will appear in the Iguana logs. The next step is to create an email notification rule that notifies you when a warning appears.
