Another great feature in Chameleon is the ability to add more complex matching rules to any message. This is particularly useful for grouping inbound messages of different types together so that the same grammar and mapping rules can be applied across the entire group. Using the patient data example from earlier in this tutorial, consider an application that simply needs to extract basic patient demographics from incoming ADT^A04 and ADT^A05 message types:
Therefore, all incoming ADT^A04 and ADT^A05 would be mapped into one logical PatientUpdate message.
