This section shows you how to upgrade Iguana using Linux commands. The commands may differ slightly between flavors of Unix. Before upgrading your system in your production environment, iNTERFACEWARE strongly recommends performing the upgrade on a test machine first. Note that you must be using gcc compiler version 3.4 or above to install Iguana on a Linux machine. To upgrade Iguana in Unix, Linux or Mac OS X:
The above command will return the version of the gcc compiler you are using, but may not work on all Unix-based systems.
Running Iguana 3.3 or older as an Executable
Running Iguana 4.0 or later as an Executable
Running Iguana 3.3 or older as a Daemon
Running Iguana 4.0 or later as a Daemon
Congratulations, you have successfully upgraded Iguana. If you already purchased Iguana, please note that you do not have to register Iguana again after upgrading. |
