To install Iguana 4.0 or later on a development machine, start by copying the following files from the Iguana 3.3 production machine:
All of these files should be placed in the same directory (for example, C:\IguanaConfig). Once you have copied these files, the next step is to install and configure Iguana on your test machine:
This starts your new Iguana server. The server locates the configuration files that you have copied from your Iguana 3.3 production server and creates a new Iguana configuration file, IguanaConfiguration.xml. The old configuration files are moved to the iguana3config subdirectory. When your server has started, use a web browser to log into the Iguana server and verify that it is working properly. (You may see some configuration errors, as some of your channels may be trying to reference VMD files that cannot be found. You will fix this in a later step.) If you do not have a license for this directory, you can obtain one; see Registering and Licensing Iguana Version 4.0 Or Later for details on how to do this. |
