If you need to install an additional Iguana service, you can install additional servers from the the installation directory you have used to install your existing service.

To install an additional Iguana service:

• In your Iguana installation directory, make a copy of iguana_service.exe and iguana_service.hdf. For example, you could call them iguana_service2.exe and iguana_service2.hdf.

• Edit the new copy of iguana_service.hdf and change the command_line field to specify a different working directory. See Specifying the Configuration File Directory for instructions on how to do this.

• In the new copy of iguana_service.hdf, change the service_name and service_display_name fields to values not already in use, as described in Installing the New Service.

• Save your copy of iguana_service.hdf and close it. It should now look something like this:

• In the command prompt window, start the new Iguana service. For example, if you have copied iguana_service.exe to iguana_service2.exe, type iguana_service2 --install.

• Type net start [servicename]. Replace [servicename] with the value of the service_name field that you specified in your new copy of iguana_service.hdf.

Your new Iguana service should now appear in the Services list on your system. You can use this method to start as many services as you want, provided you have enough Iguana licenses. For instance, here is an example of a system that is running one Iguana 3.3 server and two Iguana 4.0 servers:
