Email notification rules now link to existing messages that match them When you create an email notification rule, it includes a link to all existing messages that match the rule: This enables you to check whether your email notification rule is matching what you expect it to.
Regular expressions and Boolean expressions now supported in email notification rules The Text Query field in the standard email notification rule definition allows you to specify regular expressions and Boolean expressions: See Creating a Standard Rule for more details on specifying regular expressions and Boolean expressions in email notification rules.
Channel inactivity rules can now specify a time filter When you create a channel inactivity rule, you can now specify a range of times during which you do not want to be notified if the channel is inactive: This is useful if you have a channel that is only active during specific hours. You can also specify that you are to be notified when an inactive channel becomes active again.
Channel inactivity rules can now send a notification email message when an inactive channel becomes active When you create a channel inactivity rule, you can select the Notify When Channel Activity Resumes check box. This notifies you when an inactive channel becomes active again.
Email notifications can now be sent as SMS messages Any Iguana user can now receive email notifications as SMS messages, which can be sent to your cell phone's email address: Messages sent using SMS are truncated to be a maximum of 140 characters in length.
Email notifications can now be sent to channel groups You can now use a single email notification rule to send an email message when a specified event happens in any of a number of channels. To do this, create a channel group, and include the channels that are to be covered by the notification rule: For more information on channel groups, see Channel Groups.
