To configure the To File destination component:

• Click the Destination tab.
• In the Destination directory field, type the path of the directory into which you want the XML output file to be written. (If you are not sure where to put this file, create a directory and specify its path.)
• From the Write each message to list box, select Separate files. (Best practice is to use separate files when writing XML output.)
• From the Use as file ID list box, select Integer index.
• In the Output file mask field, type output_%i.xml.
• Leave the other fields unchanged.
