Chameleon performs validation of parsed messages in several ways. Standard validation is done on integers, doubles and date/times, while more complex validation can be achieved using Validation Rules on a field in a segment. In this section, you will learn how to set validation options for your VMD file and turn on strict grammar checking for segment grammars. In addition, you will learn about message parsing errors and validation rules. Finally, this section will discuss exception class in detail. |
