There is a known issue in Chameleon version 3.3.140 and lower which requires you to have administration rights to verify the license settings in the registry. This is the only way that you will be able to run Chameleon without errors. The user permissions issue has been fixed in version 3.3.141 so that non-admin users on Windows can now safely invoke Chameleon. This fix is listed in the Chameleon change log which can be viewed by going to http://dl.interfaceware.com/chameleon/change_log.txt. |
