To configure the To Database destination component:

• In the Full parser VMD path field, enter the path of the sample VMD file that you saved earlier. Ensure that the path is correct, otherwise, you will receive an error when you start the channel.
• In the Automatically purge error logs older than field, specify when error logs are stale and can be deleted. 0 means error logs will never be automatically purged.

Configuring the Database Destination Component

To configure the From Message Filter source component:

• In the Incoming channel name field, choose the name of the first channel (in this case, it's Queue Test Channel).
• In the Filter index field, enter the sub-channel ID number (in this case, it's 1 since you will only be forwarding the data to one target.
• In the Poll time field, enter the number of milliseconds between subsequent queries to the database for the next outgoing message in the message filter with the "waiting" status (value is "W"). If no messages are "waiting", Iguana waits for another "poll time" interval before querying the database again.
• Leave the Filter VMD path blank since you will not be transforming or ignoring messages in this example.
• Ensure that No transformation is selected.
• Leave the Ignored messages field blank.
• In the Error handling field, ensure that Skip message is selected.
• In the Automatically purge error logs older than field, specify when error logs are stale and can be deleted. 0 means error logs will never be automatically purged.
• Click the Add Channel button to add the new channel to the Iguana Dashboard.

Configuring the Message Filter Source Component

The last step is to export the log and destination data tables to your specified database.
