Problem After upgrading Chameleon to version 4.5, you may encounter the following error message when your application is running:
where "Error Message" represents the details of the specific error.
Symptoms When your application is running, this error will occur when the Chameleon engine or networking components are used. More specifically, this error will occur if the Chameleon installer is unable to detect .NET on the machine during the installation process. The error message is as follows:
This will not prevent .NET applications from building or running. This means two things:
Solutions Solution 1 is the recommended method since Chameleon no longer places the CHM_CSHARP.DLL file in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC).
