If you are using legacy database logging with your plugin, and you are using an Oracle database, your channel name must be a maximum of 10 characters in length. This is because of a restriction imposed by Oracle: its maximum table length is 30 characters. When you are using legacy database logging, a table name created by Iguana consists of the channel name with a suffix appended to it. This suffix may be up to 20 characters long, which is why the channel name is limited to 10 characters. |
