The next step is to register your new server and examine the copied channels to ensure that everything is working properly:

• Log into Iguana using the default username and password (admin and password).

• You will be asked for a license for your new version of Iguana. Follow the steps described in Getting a Permanent Iguana License to get a license for this Iguana server. You will need to provide the Iguana ID that is displayed on your screen.

• When you have obtained a license, examine the Dashboard on your new server to ensure that the channels that you have copied are properly defined. (You can always edit the channel later. See Editing a Channel for information on how to do this.)

• Log out of the new Iguana server.

• In the command prompt window from which you started the new version of Iguana, press control-C to stop the server. (You must stop the server before you can install its service, which you will do in the next section.) You will see log messages indicating that the server has shut down:
