The legacy LLP networking components (found in versions prior to 3.3.146) are deprecated and have been removed from the standard installation for versions 4.0 and 4.1. They have since been replaced with new LLP networking components (found in versions 3.3.146 and above). As a result, any existing applications being upgraded to version 4.0 and above must be modified to use the new components. However, starting in version 4.5.1, the legacy networking components were re-added to the standard installation to assist customers with older C++ and Java applications still in circulation (Delphi, C# and Visual Basic components were not re-added). This makes it easier for customers who have significant legacy code bases to upgrade to the latest version of Chameleon. The table below lists the deprecated networking components for each supported language. In addition, it lists the Chameleon versions affected by the changes:
