Adding the ResultInformation Table to the Table Grammar |
The next step is to add the ResultInformation table to the Table Grammar:
- In the Workspace, click the ResultInformation table and drag it into the Table Grammar panel under PatientInformation.

The error icon, shown in the Table Grammar panel, indicates that the grammar root has not been set. You will set the grammar root in the next step. For more information about error messages, see Error Messages. | ||

- Double-click the ResultInformation table in the Table Grammar panel. An Information window appears, reminding you that you must select a root grammar node first.
- Click OK. The Grammar Root Selection window appears.
- Select OBR (Observation Request) as the grammar root, and click OK. The Table Mapping window appears. By selecting OBR as the grammar root, this means that one row will be created for each OBR segment and the Python scripts you added will ensure all the OBX values will also be inserted into that one row.

- Close the Table Mapping window. You will notice that the Table Grammar panel now has one associated warning, as shown below.

The warning message indicates that no value was mapped to the Result field. Normally this would be a problem you would need to fix, but it is not necessary in this case since you are using Python to map the Result field.
