Iguana is an HL7 integration engine that allows for communication between database tables and HL7 messages. Iguana runs as a standalone service in Windows, or daemon in Unix-based operating systems, and can be easily used to perform the following functions:
Moreover, Iguana (unlike Chameleon) requires no custom programming, offers Web-based monitoring and administration, as well as extensive logging capability. It also runs on most platforms and supports all of the major databases, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL. By leveraging iNTERFACEWARE's industry-standard Chameleon HL7 messaging engine to handle all message parsing and generation details, Iguana is able to guarantee reliable and highly efficient performance. |
