The final step in defining the NextOfKin table is to specify the mapping from the NK1 segment into the table.

The Table Mapping window is where you specify which segment field to associate with each of the data elements you want to extract. To map the NK1 segment to your NextOfKin table, you must drag fields from the right panel of the window to the Mapping column of the table. To do this:
The result looks like this: ![]() Mapping For the NextOfKin Table Note that the only fields available for this mapping are the fields of the NK1 segment; you cannot access any data from other segments. This is because the NK1 segment is set as the grammar root for this table mapping. |
