Segment identities allow you to define a rule to match one or more fields with a regular expression. For example, consider the following Segment Identity: If you had another OBX segment and set up the segment identity to be Value = IN (integer), then you could easily distinguish the two types of OBX segments. The segment algorithm would look at the defined matching rules and the three-letter identifier. To define the Segment Identity:
The Field column is a field which is being used to match upon, and the Value column is the regular expression that will be used to match the field. Segments that have identities will be represented in the Chameleon Workspace as follows:
