This is an absolute no no. Chameleon is designed to invoke the Delphi compiler directly to compile the custom generated packages. These packages are cleaned out when one re-installs Chameleon. This behavior is by design since it ensures that there is no chance that any stale files are sitting around your system from previous versions of Chameleon. If you interfere with this system by manually compiling a generated package, the following procedure will help you get things back to a working state.
To which you should click Yes. The same procedure should be repeated with each component generated by Chameleon. Once you are done, you can regenerate the components by opening the message definition file for each component in Chameleon and invoking the Generate Stubcode Dialog. |
