If you are using a version of Iguana that is older than version 4.0, to make MySQL work and visible as a database choice for Iguana channel configurations, you must ensure that the MySQL shared object is included in your platform's dynamic library load path. In a typical Linux distribution, the shared object is located in /usr/lib/mysql/lib. So, before starting Iguana you should export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/user/lib/mysql/lib.
The table below shows the shared object name and dynamic load library load path for each supported platform:
