Chameleon allows you to automatically import unrecognized segments from a built-in library of all the standard HL7 segments, or from an existing VMD file on your computer or network. This functionality can be accessed by copying and pasting an HL7 message in the top pane of the Message Browser. When you parse the message, any unrecognized segments can be immediately imported using the Import Unrecognized Segments window.
