1. Filter unexpected messages

• If many messages are irrelevant to you then you can choose to ignore them. Messages you are not interested in can be filtered by setting up a Default Message in the VMD file. Every time a message is received by your channel that does not match any other message defined in the message definition file, Iguana will ACKnowledge the unexpected message and then log it for future investigation.

2. What about ACK messages?

• Unlike Chameleon, you do not have to create the ACKnowledgment logic when using Iguana. Iguana will typically send out ACKs to the sending application when the data has been consumed.
