Setting up the HL7 Listener
To ensure that the HL7 Listener is listening:
Open the HL7 Listener:
In the
Message log file
field, type the name of a file to which you want to direct log messages. (You can put this file anywhere you like.)
Select the
Append to message log file
check box.
In the
Port Number
field, type
8889
(or the port number you specified when defining the
Destination: LLP Client
component of Channel 2).
Click
Start
to activate the HL7 Listener.
