Default Message Definition |
The Default message definition is used to process every incoming message and extract the desired fields from the MSH segment. If you look at this message you will note that:
- The table grammar is blank;
- The segment grammar has only a single MSH segment; and
- Segment filtering has been switched on.
This means that no data is mapped out of the message; only the MSH segment will be parsed and any other segments will be ignored.
