To create a regression test, you must:

• Use your existing tests to ensure that your application is currently working as expected.

• Use msgtransform to generate an output file from your current VMD file. Save this output file, as you will use it in your regression test.

• At regular intervals, run msgtransform again, and compare its output file with your saved output file. If the two output files are identical, your regression test is successful, and you can be confident that the output from your application has not changed.
