The Grammar View performs the mappings into your tables, displays the table grammar of the first matching message definition and shows you which data will be mapped out into the selected table. It then displays the extracted data graphically.
To use the Grammar View:
The right pane displays the data much like a table in a database, but instead displays columns on the left side and the row number along the top. This view is useful for verifying that your mappings are not only correct, but to also check what data will be mapped from incoming messages. If the parse is successful, your tables will be correctly populated. If the parse fails, an error message will be displayed, similar to the one that would appear at runtime. |
