Channels that have LLP Listener as their source component and To Database as their destination component behave slightly differently in Iguana 4.0 than they did in older versions of Iguana. In older versions of Iguana, the message is received, and the To Database component attempts to process the message and insert the resulting data into the database. If the attempt to insert the data is successful, an ACK message is sent. If the insert is unsuccessful, a NACK message is sent. In Iguana 4.0, the LLP Listener source component receives messages and stores them in a message queue. When the message has been successfully inserted into the queue, Iguana sends an ACK message. This ACK indicates that the message has been successfully received and does not need to be resent. If your application is expecting Iguana to send NACK messages if messages were successfully received but were not successfully inserted into the database, your application may not behave as expected when it attempts to interact with Iguana 4.0. |
